Abstract

Located at the borders of the politically correct, Denis Fleurdorge is dedicated to describe in detail the undergrounds of French political power, as it operates through the representations and rituals of the president of the republic, an emblematic figure of the incarnation of power. It is as a historian that the author proposes to explore in depth the political in action, through reference and analysis of the dynamics of power through the bias of action verbs (arrive and depart, preside, recognize, celebrate, appear, travel, receive , Express and create). The thesis he defends is inscribed in the continuity of his previous book, On The Rituals of the President of the Republic.
