Author Biography

Stephen Pfohl, Boston College

Stephen Pfohl is Professor and Coordinator of the Department of Sociology at Boston College, Massachusetts, USA. He is editor, along with Arthur Kroker of the journal Ctheory1, one of the most influential electronic publications on cyberculture. His researches are between critical social theory, poststructuralist sociology, sociology of art, and postmodern culture. Pfohl is also a graphic artist and questions regarding the image are always present in his texts.
