Abstract

The Kiss of the Mechanical Bride - Media Essays and daily life (João Pessoa, Editora Manufacture, 2002) is the title of the new book by Wellington Pereira, journalist and professor doctor of the faculty of the Federal University of Paraíba. This is a compilation of articles which can be situated on two levels: one of them is dedicated to the language journalism, while the other consists of a production of essays - published in the press Local - for pedagogical purposes.
