Abstract

MP3 is a new compacting algorythm which allows the free distribution of high-quality musical files via the Internet, a new development which worries big corporations of the music business. This text wonders which changes that technical development may bring about to both the music market and to the world of the small cultural producer, in regard to their respective future, strategic actions.
