Abstract

Interview with Pierre Bourieu. Endowed or detested, to the point of being called as Bourdivin by his detractors, the sociologist Pierre Bourdieu, 68, professor at the famous and prestigious Collège de France, reigns, for many of his admirers, as the last of the maîtres to think in the country of the intellectual Engaged Jean-Paul Sartre, whose specter continues to prowl the imaginary of critical thinkers, left utopians, nostalgics of the proletarian revolution, opponents of neoliberalism and even resentment for various reasons.
