Abstract

The idea of encoding images through digits has already been rehearsed several times before reaching the form of computer bits. Starting with the Roman mosaics and passing through the simple embroidery of our grandmothers, we can mention examples ranging from the pointilism painting (that formed the images through discrete points instead of continuous tones) to recent mass manifestations like the "wave" practiced in bleachers ff stages, where each sitting person resembles a bit, which can occupy two positions: lowered or raised, transmitting the image of a wave by the coordinated alternation of those positions.
