Abstract

In the book Profissão Artista, Rosza W. Vel Zoladz sought to comprehend how the artist is configured in Brazilian imaginary as creator and as professional category. The result of this investigation leads us to the complexity of an object of study, traversed by the most diverse paradoxes of contemporary society. The work, which is resulted of an ethnographic research, is divided into seven chapters.
