Abstract

We aim to inquire the operation of the speech on the reader through the narrator-characte[r’s voice in Água Viva, by Clarice Lispector, in order to offer for professionals of language a panoramic study about the problem of the reading and reader, in a perspective of Discourse Analysis in the present. For this discussion, we elect as theoretical and methodological basis the French Discourse Analysis. The present paper is a contribution for the debate about the problem of formation of the proficient reader.
