O sentido atribuído à liberdade e a relação que daí se estabelece com a conduta humana em termos éticos, parece ser anterior a um sistema dual em todas as suas margens de sentido, e para além delas. Anterior também à divisão entre subjetividade e objetividade, é esta falta que se faz lacuna, tanto nas tentativas filosóficas transcendentais que absolutizam o mundo ideal, quanto nas analíticas, as quais priorizam o mundo real. Busca-se algo capaz de contemplar transcendentalidade e objetividade no interior do próprio conceito de liberdade, através da leitura e compreensão das filosofias de Kant e Nagel, de modo a relacionar o irrelacionável, e desfazer um abismo. É necessário um novo sentido para tal conceito, o qual, através do sujeito transcendental kantiano, acabou por assumir proporções insustentáveis. O que é este desconhecido da liberdade humana a justificar uma nova conduta ética?
