Abstract

This article intends to challenge the notion of sovereignty of the subject underlying the enlightenment´s faith in the omnipotence of the lawmaker, starting with overcoming the paradigm of the representation until the discovery of the pre-understandings as condition of possibility and not a limitation to knowledge according to Hans-George Gadamer´s thougths. Therefore, based on the implication of the notion of shared horizons of senses in all kinds of knowledge, realizing an approximation of the experience of art’s truth like was thought by Kant, we aim to focus our attention on the moment of the law´s application for the construction of meanings.
