In modern times, individual memory is not enough to retain all past experiences, so society creates preservation institutions that will store them to the contemporary world. In this sense, we discuss the representations of the Italian identity in Rio Grande do Sul from the “memory stimulator” present in the Primo Levi’s narratives; we try to understand past fragments remained in the touristic itinerary as a builder of an imaginary about the Italian Immigration.Downloads
