Abstract

Our aim in this article is to approach the topic of amerindian anthropophagy as it comes about in Portuguese domains in the XVIth century, having the problem of alterity as a central concern. We attempt to show that its formulation produces efects that highlight the relationships between various normative projects with its margins or portions of reality which they do not apprehend.
