Abstract

 

This report describes the life of Alonso de Estrada (1480?-1531), Governor of New Spain, understanding it in its historical and geopolitical environment. This way, along the following pages, the most important historical events where Estrada directly took part will be analyzed without any damage of the study of their more personal biographical data.
