Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.
  • The text follows the journal's formatting requirements according to the "Guidelines for Authors"found in the "Submissions" section.
  • It is mandatory to fill in the Article Cover, with the article information. This document must be forwarded separately at the time of submission.

Author Guidelines

  • The journal publishes works by researchers with doctorates, doctoral students, masters and master's students.
  • Files sent for submission must be in open text format (Word).
  • Articles, reviews and interviews in different languages ​​are accepted.
  • The author must keep his registration profile up to date and, for the purpose of submitting a new text, fulfill all the conditions listed below in "Rules for Submission".
  • Author information must contain the following data: full name with correct spelling; ORCID (see: orcid.org); affiliation: institution, city, union state and country; email; complete physical postal address of the corresponding author, which may be the institutional one, provided at the end of the article; source of research funding (if any); potential conflicts of interest (if any).
  • The contribution must be original and unpublished. It should also not be under review for publication by another journal; if this is not the case, justify in “Comments to the editor” when submitting the text on the portal.
  • The publication of works is subject to approval by reviewers. The originality in the treatment of the theme, the consistency and rigor of the approach, and its contribution to the thematic line are taken into account. The names of the reviewers will remain confidential, and the names of the authors will also be omitted from the reviewers.
  • The spontaneous submission of articles and their subsequent acceptance for publication automatically imply the assignment of the rights of the first publication to the journal. Intellectual copyright remains with the author. Any subsequent reproduction, by any means, can only be done with prior agreement between the journal and the author and with the proper citation of the source.
  • The concepts emitted in the works are the exclusive responsibility of the authors, not necessarily reflecting the opinion of the Editorial Committee and the Editorial Board.

Rules for Submission

  • The formatting of the submitted text must be done according to our template.
  • The submission must be made in two files: one identified, with the authors' data (full name, email, ORCID, institutional address and mini resume), and the other without identification.
  • Number of pages: articles: from 15 to 25 pages; reviews: 3-9 pages; interviews: from 5 to 15 pages. The paper used must be in A4 size, with 2.5 cm margins, font Cambria, size 12, interlinear spacing 1.5.
  • The magazine adopts, as a reference standard, the current edition of ABNT [Brazilian Association of Technical Standards] (ABNT - General Rules).
  • Citations and references must be complete and in accordance with the standard adopted by the journal.
  • Articles, reviews and interviews in different languages ​​are accepted. In addition to the language in which the article is written, it is mandatory that there be a title, abstract and keywords in Portuguese, English and Spanish. The title, abstract and keywords in the language in which the work is written must be registered first.
  • Number of words in the abstract: from 100 to 200 words; Keywords: 3 to 5 words, separated by semicolons.
  • Illustrations (figures, graphs, charts, tables, etc.) must be inserted in the document, close to the text to which they relate, receiving a title with numbering (eg, Graph 1 – Respondent Data) and indication of the source.
  • Optionally, authors may register acknowledgments at the end of the article.

Reviews

Section dedicated to reviews of academic works published in the last two years.

Characteristics of the Section:

  • Extension: 3 to 9 pages (follow the Guidelines for Authors).
  • Reviews from doctors, doctoral students, masters and master's students are accepted.

Articles

Section designed to publish authorial scientific articles, focused on specific themes proposed for each issue by the journal's editorial team.

Characteristics of the Section:

  • Extension: from 15 to 25 pages (follow the Guidelines for Authors).
  • Articles from doctors, doctoral students, masters and master's students are accepted.
  • Articles are evaluated according to the Peer Review Process.
