The education and ethical challenges of linguistic shape

Abstract

 

This paper presents the discussion on how the alterity offering a challenge and impetus for the educational act. Starting with arguments coming from literary works of Antelme and Malroux, passing to the philosophical basis of Adorno and Gadamer, shall be located both the body and the space that it occupies as causes of reflections about ethics and the constitution of subjectivity. The presence of another human constitutes impetus for consideration of the educational act, defended here as the space of the linguistic shape, which requires to break with the dynamics of individualization, assuming the necessity of constituting cells humanity. Accordingly the urgency for educational institutions is to develop the moral ability to establish bonds and from the recognition of the place occupied and recognition of own body that occupies that place, constitute subjectivity and intersubjectivity own. This points to the concern beyond with own knowledge, whit self-care and care of the other.
