A discourse analysis of the review Cadernos Brasileiros shows that the anticommunist discourse of the Congress for Cultural Freedom varies considerably between countries, A comparison of the "imported" articles with those written by Brazilian contributors on the themes of the Cold War and the end of ideologies highlights these sociolectical differences.
