German Immigration in Latin America in the 19th and 20th centuries: Argentina, Brazil and Chile

Abstract

During the 19th century and in the first decades of the 20th, German colonization projects were established in Brazil, Chile, and Argentina. They shared many common features in their objectives, in their agrarian structure as well as in the organization of their rural communities.
