Este artigo discute a possibilidade de ensino e aprendizagem das técnicas literárias.
Apresenta também uma breve exposição diacrônica das diferentes experiências em escrita criativa, desde os primórdios lendários até nossos dias. É mostrado como, na atualidade, a escrita criativa é um fenômeno acadêmico amplamente difundido, chegando recentemente na universidade brasileira.

Creative writing and the University
Abstract: This paper discusses the possibility of teaching and learning literary techniques. It also presents a brief diachronic exhibition of different experiences in creative writing from the legendary beginnings to the present day. It is shown how, at present, creative writing is a widespread academic phenomenon, recently arriving in the Brazilian university.
