Keywords:
Reading strategies, Basic education, Children’s storyAbstract
This work aims to investigate the reading strategies that students, from the first and third year of primary school use to read the tale genre. We will undertake our work based on, mainly, the contributions of Giasson (1996), Kress e van Leeuwen (1996), Solé (1998), Harvey e Goudvis (2008), Mills (2009) e Girotto e Souza (2010). To carry out this work, we used a corpus consisting of nine semi-structured interviews conducted at the time that the students were reading the story Ali Baba and the 40 thieves. Our study about these constructions, tried to focus on the reading of the drawing and the written material as a continuum, and show the importance of understanding the ways, the strategies that children use to understand a text.Downloads
