The Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems have a key role in corporate information management. However, to achieve the desired return on investment is still a challenge and complaints from users are not uncommon. The objective of this study is to examine how the perception of end users in relation to the quality of ERP systems can contribute to improving these systems. To achieve this goal, a case study research was carried out on a medium-sized company that operates in the agribusiness sector in the Brazilian Southern Region. Several suggestions for improvements were identified from 26 semi-structured interviews with users of the company’s ERP system. Subsequently, a structured questionnaire was applied with key users from 30 subsidiaries of the company to assess the importance of the suggestions. The feasibility of deployment was discussed later in conjunction with those responsible for the company’s IT area. The survey showed that trough the users’ view is possible to generate significant improvements that can be implemented by the organization.Downloads
