Negociación sociotécnica: una aproximación teórica desde las prácticas tecnopolíticas

Resumen

En este artículo exploramos teóricamente la interacción entre comunidades sociotécnicas y tecnología desde las prácticas de la negociación. La negociación se presenta como un proceso complejo que implica conflictos y acuerdos dentro de los movimientos sociales. Mediante un análisis cualitativo de las comunidades sociotécnicas en España, comprobamos que sus usos, discursos y valores en torno a la tecnología implican cuestiones individuales, colectivas y oposicionales. Concluimos que la existencia de la negociación en las comunidades está íntimamente ligada a la asimetría de la apropiación tecnológica, que implica una revisión constante de los límites de sus prácticas asociadas. Al mismo tiempo, la negociación ofrece a las comunidades una mayor flexibilidad y adaptabilidad al contexto en el que opera su acción colectiva.
