Teoría Crítica entre Marx y Honneth

En este artículo consideraré las principales objeciones marxistas al modelo de Honneth para una Teoría Crítica de la sociedad y también las objeciones centrales de Honneth a los modelos inspirados en Marx. Después intentaré esbozar una aproximación entre ambas posiciones al mostrar cómo el concepto normativo de reconocimiento de Honneth no es opuesto a argumentos funcionalistas, sino que contiene una dimensión socio-teórica: la idea de que la reproducción social y la evolución social giran alrededor de luchas por la interpretación de normas sociales centrales. Al iluminar el lado socioteórico del reconocimiento, es posible esbozar un modelo de Teoría Crítica de la sociedad que, de hecho, corresponda a las características descriptivas y normativas delineadas por el propio Marx. Sin embargo, el precio de este acercamiento a la Teoría Crítica de Honneth es un énfasis mayor en la división del trabajo como el mecanismo central de la reproducción social.
