Citizens= participation alternatives in public administration

Abstract

The aim of the present work is to present some results of an investigation, that is being carried out in Porto Alegre and Montevidéu, on the extension of citizens= participation in public administration. This comparison between different participa-tive experiences offers a valuable material to analyze the perspectives and possibili-ties of development of such proposals as well as their main limitations.
