The crime weapons: reflections on drug traffic in Rio de Janeiro

This article draws on ethnographic fielword carried out in some ‘favelas’ and public low-income house projects locate in Rio de Janeiro. It aims at explaining the segment organization of drug-trafficking groups. In adition to revealing the links between the drug trade and another criminal activities.
