The article draws the attention to urge of conceptually and theoretically devising Mercosur’s integration based on what is typical to it, from a locally cumulated regional experience, and abstracting the European example, usually mentioned due to its degree of institutional development. According to the author, Mercosur’s logic differs from the European one, amidst many factors due to its lower political, social, and even economic possible cost, hence the option for a decreased number of technocrats in the process conduct. For him, problems faced up by Mercosur derive from adversities experienced internally in every country rather than the way it’s been conducted, and Mercosur’s success exactly derives from its pragmatic and barely orthodox character.Downloads
