This article is a result of an ethnography study conducted in the Brazilian stock market. Through the analysis, of the São Paulo Stock Exchange Market operations, the analysis of the different institutions connected to this market and of the social trajectory of the professionals linked to this universe, this article shows how are built the social conditions of the existence of an exchange space, based on the theorical model of the perfect market, formulated by the neoclassic economical school.
