Abstract

The lack of limits imposed by parents can trigger problems in the psychological adjustment of children and also in the development of aggressive conduct. This paper presents a literature review, whose objectives were: to contextualize the family, present and discuss the practical positive parenting and negative, identifying them when the say “no” means love, and the difficulty of caregivers say “no”. It is necessary to develop new studies on this subject in order to prevent the possible consequences of the lack of boundaries.
