Professional rehabilitation: the group as an instrument of ressignification

Abstract

This work presents an experience of intervention during a curricular internship of the Psychology Graduation Curse of the Universidade Federal do Rio Grande do Sul. This internship emphasizes the worker’s health and was developed in a general hospital, comprising, besides other activities, a group of workers removed from their jobs, doing professional rehabilitation. This article reports an intervention in this group of people, based upon the notion of dispositive-group (Barros, 1997), and in this intervention, trough out a Therapeutic Work group built by the own participants, questions and movements are allowed and those allow ressignification the meaning of the ways of producing the relationship between work and subjectivity.
