Among God, guilt and sin

Abstract

In this article the authors search for the origin and propagation of guilt feeling in Occident and find in sin notion and in the rise of monotheism, two linked factors. Looking for a psychological interpretation, psychoanalysis emerges as an important contribution for a better comprehension of the problem.
