O trabalho busca justificar a importância da especificidade da Psicologia do Esporte para que o profissional possa atender às demandas, principalmente, das crianças e adolescentes que têm na prática esportiva e competitiva uma opção de vida. As questões são ilustradas através de exemplos práticos vividos na rotina de um clube poliesportivo.

ABSTRACT
The production of differences through sport This paper is due to account for the importance of the particularities of Sport Psychology. From it the professional will be able to consider the special demands of children and adolescents who take on sport practices and competition an option of life. The questions are illustrated through examples experiences out of sports associations’ routine.
