Abstract

The Family Health Strategy (ESF) is configured as the main gateway to the Primary Care Services of the Unique Healthcare System and must be constantly evaluated. Thus, this correlational research aimed to evaluate its professional beliefs about the ESF, with a probability sample of 475 professionals, which responded to a scale. It was found that all factors were negatively evaluated: physical infrastructure, by 76.84% ( f = 356) of professionals, material resources, by 54.52% ( f = 259) and attendance efficiency, with 92.43% ( f = 439) reproaches. Concluding that, despite following an ideal model, the ESF has obstacles in operational reality of its services perceived and characterized by the employees themselves.
