Considerations About a Relational Ethics
Keywords:
Ethics, dialogic, communication.Abstract
The search for answers to daily ethical dilemmas is part of people activities since Antiquity. An analysis of the various philosophical systems points to the impossibility of finding a universal ethical perspective and to propose definitive solutions to the various dilemmas. Considering this fact, this article aims to reflect on a relational view of ethics as a critical and practical proposal. Thus, through a literature review, we discuss some ethical views socially available and their relationship to a relational perspective. From this, we introduce the assumptions of a relational ethics, emphasize the invitation to the multiplicity of meanings co-constructed in an interaction and promote a deep understanding of communication practices as generating ethical positions, decisions and meanings. We conclude this article evaluating the contributions that this ethical perspective offers to professional practices.Downloads
