Abstract

The importance of an efficient data collection promotes the success of an empiric work. However, themes that approach personal aspects can induce bias which could depreciate the results obtained. The sensitive theme of human sexuality has been one of the fields of most difficult data collection. This analysis pretends to do a survey of the different techniques of data retraction, its advantages and disadvantages as well as, some suggestion related to the possible way of skirting the problems of each one of them. Keywords: Sexuality: retraction data methodology; self-reported measures.
