Acesso intrabucal para redução de fratura subcondilar unilateral – relato de caso
Abstract
Os autores realizam revista de literatura sobre as formas de tratamento das fraturas condilares extracapsulares, contrapondo as técnicas cirúrgicas e não-cirúrgicas; relatam um caso atípico de fratura condilar extracapsular unilateral em que a redução foi cirúrgica, através de acesso intrabucal; porém, a contenção e a imobilização se deu por bloqueio maxilomandibular, através de arcos de Erich.

SUMMARY
The authors make a review of the literature about the treatment of subcondylar fractures, oposing surgical versus nonsurgical techinques and report a atipic case of unilteral subcondylar fracture in the reduction made by intraoral acess, but estabilization and imobilization was achieved by intermaxillary fixation with Erich arch bars.
