Francis Ponge on the pictorial
Keywords:

This paper presents a study on the relationship between Literature and Plastic Arts in two texts of Francis Ponge. This poet has an intense epistolary activity with the artists of his time and wrote about them. Our intention was to study the way this relationship takes place in his work, and how it can be identified in the text by means of pictorial marks. Those marks reveal how Ponge considers and writes about paintings and painters. His writings are a means of talking about everyday objects, including those in paintings and motifs such as animals, landscapes, and still life.Downloads
