The black hole of Western consciousness

Abstract: From the dawn of Haiti in 1804, the West has never been able to accept, understand and get along with the principles that govern the traumatic independence of the cradle of the fundamental Human Rights. Reasons of political, strategic, economic, religious and especially cultural – in its anthropological sense – reasons are at the core of the conflicts between the
world and the only Republic that managed to get rid of the chains of slavery and create an independent nation.
