Abstract

This paper analyzes Maurice Blanchot’s Thomas l’obscur, considering the configuration of Blanchotian the other night, the one that presents the lack and the absence of the word in which it has its most aggressive, its most excessive and its most absurdly wonderful. In this paper, I have as the theoretical interlocutor the writings on literature by the author himself. The interest in this dialog consists in presenting the passionate fusion of the author’s fictional and theoretical writings. In Maurice Blanchot, there are not any isolation points or divergence between his two writing poles, but rather a complement, a convergence, between what we call fiction and theory.

É Doutorando em Literatura Comparada pela Universidade Federal Fluminense - UFF. Departamento de Estudos de Literatura. Área de Literatura. É Mestre pelo Programa de Pós-Graduação em Letras (Mestrado em Letras) da Universidade Federal do Ceará - UFC. Fez graduação em Letras pela Universidade Federal do Ceará - UFC (2007). Tem experiência na área de Literatura, com ênfase nas narrativas ficcionais do escritor francês Maurice Blanchot, bem como é estudioso do pensamento crítico blanchotiano sobre o espaço literário.
