Abstract

The history about the founding of Rome is a widely humanized and historicized mythology. By eliminating the miraculous and sacred elements of myth, it is left only its skeleton, which is filled with the facts and sequences of episodes for the construction of history. The starting point of history is the act of founding, and the Roman history of the origins served as mythology for these men to whom all vallues were defined about their city. Thus, the mythological legacy of Rome was immortalized in the history of the origin of the city and its institutions, reflecting on the figure of the early Roman kings the functional aspects of religious and juridical sovereignty.
