This paper aims to do an overview of the law of evidence in Criminal Procedural Law patriotism. We sought to especially emphasize the importance of the 1988 Federal Constitution on the subject of evidence. This study therefore proposes to highlight aspects of the criminal trial, especially by leading exponents of doctrinal research on the subject. Thus, we first conceptualized the proof in the legal system. After, we discuss the principles governing the most important criminal trial, as contradictory and defense. It is not aimed to exhaust the subject, but present some aspects, which are believed to be the most relevant. Therefore, in developing this monograph, always noted the position of the law, as well as the major issues introduced by Law nº 11.690/2008.Downloads
