Abstract

 

From the identification of sectoral specialization of the cities of Espírito Santo this study aims to examine the comparative advantages of each county and the degree of competitiveness of the above. With this, using data from the volume of employment, is intended to raise evidence about the spatial distribution of the productive structure in the state. Moreover, it appears that local competitiveness in 2009 is concentrated mainly in the metropolitan area and surroundings.
