Abstract

It was recorded the presence of a Collared Forest-Falcon nesting inside a fireplace to make barbecue in the city of Presidente Lucena, RS. The falcon was incubating two eggs which resulted in two chicks. The fact was recorded on pictures and reported to the authors. Probably it is adaptive behavior in search of nesting places due to habitat loss.
