Abstract

Information of high mortality of Amphibians (Hyla faber) found around the nesting area of Athene cunicularia (Burrowing-owl) are presented. The area, Campus of Unisinos has their birds monitored since the seventies. The fact was only registered in a single opportunity. All the data were obtained in the spring of 1986 and they totaled 389 samples. Of these, 193 were whole samples; 38 were heads; 64 corresponded the pelvic girdle with feet and 94 remains smaller fragments.
