About the Journal

Focus and Scope

Aviation in Focus is an international blind peer-reviewed electronic publication with free access. The journal is an initiative of the Aeronautical Sciences Research Laboratory - AVIATION LAB part of the Microgravity Centre, and of the Faculty of Aeronautical Sciences, PUCRS. The journal aims to publish original manuscripts on theoretical and applied studies, from any area of interface with aviation, in particular aviation and flight safety, aviation and language, aviation and health, aviation and history, aviation and law, aviation and technology, aviation and space sciences. The main objective of the journal is to promote the discussion of issues related to aviation at different levels and contexts. Published every six months, it receives original articles, book reviews and interviews. Researchers of all countries are invited to submit their work, which will be evaluated anonymously by two members of the Editorial Board. In the event of a tie, a third reviewer will be invited. Such works must be written in English. All items are preceded by a title and abstract in English. Each abstract should have approximately 150 words. All copyrights relating to the work published are granted to the journal.

Attention: Aviation in Focus, has been published until: v.8, n.1 (2017). Currently the journal is disabled, so submissions are suspended. Existing editions will remain available with open access.
