CONVERGENCES BETWEEN SCHOPENHAUER AND NIETZSCHE IN THE CRITICAL OF THE ACADEMIC PHILOSOPHY
Abstract
This paper intends to approach the critical ones undertaken by Schopenhauer concerning the peculiarities of the German university philosophy of its time, which, according to philosopher, would have lost the commitment with the truth and the pertinent questions to the problem of the existence human being, in favor of its adequacy to the ideals politicians of the State, becoming a servant of this and legitimizing it through the affirmation of stingy interests, such as the social promotion and the enrichment through the breaking of the ideals of the Philosophy. After that, a comparison becomes on the influences that this critical one carried through for Schopenhauer against the academic philosophy would have motivated in the formation of the thought of Nietzsche, and in that way this drew out the schopenhauerians critical considerations, affirming that the university philosophy, through the peculiar interlacement enters the “erudition for the erudition” and the “journalistic culture”, tended for its decline. After all, the genius, in accordance with Nietzsche, would use the acquired knowledge to still promote the values of the life, overwhelming the false ones to know, masked in the accumulation of information in which, although the apparent portliness, would be absolutely superficial, incapable to provide the rise of the culture of the time. In this manner, a general panorama of the shock undertaken for Schopenhauer, the affirmation of the Philosophy compromised to the truth, and for Nietzsche, the affirmation of the Philosophy compromised to the formation of genius men is exposed.Downloads
