"INTELLIGENCE IS THE REWARD OF FAITH": THE CONCILIATION BETWEEN FAITH AND REASON IN THE THEORY OF KNOWLEDGE OF AUGUSTINE
Abstract
The article presents a reflection concerning the unfolding of synthesis between reason and faith in the Augustinian theory of knowledge, in order to understand it, mainly, in relation to the dichotomies body and soul, inner man and outer man, and to establish how Augustine circumscribes the possibilities of human knowledge regarding concepts of temporal realities and eternal realities.Downloads
