LEIBNIZ AND THE USE OF DIAGRAMS IN SYLLOGISTIC
Abstract
The paper investigates the use of diagrams in syllogistic. We begin with an analysis of the Leibniz’s diagram, comparing it to Euler’s and Venn’s diagrams. Thus, we aim to identify the criteria of validity used by these representational resources, in order to offer some elements for a clearer understanding of the questions that involves it.
