Abstract

The research developed and reproduced in the form of a brief article is discussing the prospect of human otherness as first philosophy, and raise the resulting consequences for the change that would provide the concepts of freedom and justice, always starting from the approach suggested by the reasoning and categories presented by Lévinas. It is the presentation of arguments that oppose the logic of ontology as first philosophy for the sake of human otherness, always turning these issues around the concepts of justice and freedom in direct relation to the theme of subjectivity. The human otherness consider as first philosophy becomes the starting point for the reconstruction of the concepts, creating a radical impact on the concepts of freedom and justice set from modernity. KEY WORDS: Alterity. First philosophy. Inversion. Freedom. Justice.
