The present study concisely intends to think about how the notion of power appears in Foucalt's philosophy, pointing to the unfoldings that this idea presents in the author's thought, causing displacements and variations having this concept as its scope. The movement that we will employ in this study, therefore, involves a tiny visit to the way in which power relations are presented by the philosopher, as well as their implications for the ideas of disciplinary power, biopower and biopolitics. Pointing out their points of intersection and distinction.
