LINGUAGEM E ONTOLOGIA: SOBRE A “ESTRUTURA DO MUNDO” NO TRACTATUS LOGICO-PHILOSOPHICUS

Abstract

RESUMO: Investigar criteriosamente a estrutura do mundo é de extrema importância quando se quer estabelecer limites para o que se pode dizer significativamente acerca dele. Em consonância com este objetivo, torna-se evidente que qualquer investigação de cunho filosófico que tenha por base a linguagem e o que ela pode representar da realidade, não pode esquivar-se de uma análise crítica das bases segundo as quais a linguagem encontra-se alicerçada. Ciente disso, Wittgenstein estabelece já no início de seu Tractatus Logico-Philosophicus o que entende por mundo e, somente depois disso, apresenta sua argumentação sobre nosso modo de representá-lo enunciativamente. Procurarei mostrar neste artigo alguns elementos importantes envolvidos na articulação entre linguagem e realidade, em especial a relação entre lógica e mundo. Palavras-chave: Wittgenstein. Lógica. ** LANGUAGE AND ONTOLOGY: ON THE “WORLD’S STRUCTURE” IN THE TRACTATUS LOGICO-PHILOSOPHICUS ABSTRACT: Researching the world’s structure in a judicious way is of extreme importance when whishing to establish limits to what one may say about the world in a significant way. Accordingly to this goal, it becomes evident that any research in a philosophical perspective, whose basis is the language and what it can represent about the reality, cannot dodge out of the critical analyses about the basis in which the language itself has its foundation. Aware of this all, Wittgenstein establishes in the beginning of his Tractatus Logico-Philosophicus what he understands by “world” and, only after this, he presents his argumentation about our way of representing it by language. I tried to show up in this article some important elements involved in the articulation between language and reality, specially the relation between logic and world. Key Words: Wittgenstein. Reality.
