Abstract

Buber’s thought on his dialogic principle humanizing-effects, which defines the authentic dialogue, establishes the bearer to attempt either a genuine personal realization or a community constructed on inter-human relationship. First, his rhetorical elaboration and practical application were more oriented to the sociological and educational realms. After the 50’s, nevertheless, his psychological and psychotherapeutic bias has been privileged. This article attempts to explain the main concepts and postulates of this psychotherapeutic approach and how they converge with the rogueries Person-Centered Therapy.
